Windows 7 build 7055 is a build of Windows 7. This build was uploaded to BetaArchive FTP on 18 February 2010.
Changes[edit | edit source]
- The login screen and OOBE background wallpaper has been changed to the one seen in the RTM.
- The default user icon has been updated.
- The menu bar in Calculator has been reorganized.
- Device Manager has been removed from the "System and Security" category in Control Panel.
- Windows Media Center received its final launch sound. However, the launch animation has not been changed, and the other sounds are different to the final ones.
Bugs[edit | edit source]
When installing video drivers and then selecting Aero, changing the screen resolution will revert the theme back to Windows Basic, and the gadgets will accumulate together as a result. Reinstalling the video drivers can solve this problem.
