  • This is the first known build to remove CPUID vendor string limit of CMPXCHG8B first appeared around Windows NT 4.0 build 1227.

Timebomb[edit | edit source]

If the timebomb is triggered, the user is no longer able to boot the system. When installing timebombed builds with a date set beyond the expiry date, setup will notify the user to set date and time.

In addition, when booting into setup, a notification is displayed that a BETA version of the Windows NT operating system is being installed.
