Windows 11 build 22631.2048 is a build of Windows 11, version 23H2. It was released to a subset of Windows Insiders in the Beta Channel on 13 July 2023 as the KB5027397 enablement update to build 22621.2048 (KB5028247) for new features included, which may not be enabled by default and instead be rolled out.

- The Gallery page, initially implemented in builds 25272 and 23435, has been backported to this build.
- The ability to tear out and merge tabs, initially implemented in build 23471, has been backported to this build.
Settings[edit | edit source]
- The non-functional "End Task" option under the For developers page, initially implemented in build 23430, has been backported to this build.
- The For Developers subpage under the Privacy & security page has been moved to the main System page.
Miscellaneous[edit | edit source]
The reported version string has been changed from "22H2" to "23H2".
Bugfixes[edit | edit source]
- Fixed an issue that was causing the taskbar to hang during initialization and not complete loading.
- Fixed an issue that was causing
explorer.exeto crash when opening a folder containing.webpimage files. - Addressed an issue where File Explorer might hang when browsing network shares.
- Fixed an issue that was causing a suggestion for turning off regularly interacted notifications to show unexpectedly.
