Windows 11 build 22631.1972 is a build of Windows 11, version 23H2. It was released to a subset of Windows Insiders in the Beta Channel on 29 June 2023 as the KB5027397 enablement update to build 22621.1972 (KB5027295) for new features included, which may not be enabled by default and instead be rolled out.

File Explorer[edit | edit source]
The new File Explorer based on Windows App SDK, previously available in builds 25300 and 23403.1001, has been backported to this build.
Miscellaneous[edit | edit source]
The support of characters defined in GB18030-2022 has been implemented to several Simplified Chinese fonts and the Microsoft Pinyin IME.
Bugfixes[edit | edit source]
Fixed the issue that was causing the "Hide date and time in the System tray" option under "Settings > Time & Language > Date & time" setting to be backwards (on being off, off being on) in build 22631.1906.
