Windows 10 build 19042.608 is a post-RTM build of the October 2020 Update. This build was released to Windows Insiders in the Beta and Release Preview Channels on 22 October 2020.
New features[edit | edit source]
- Meet Now integration on the Windows taskbar, which was first introduced in Iron build 20221, has been backported to this version. However, it is not available on Enterprise SKUs or Azure Active Directory (AAD) user accounts.
- A group policy to enable Save Target As for users in Microsoft Edge's Internet Explorer Mode has been added.
- A new Event Tracing (ETW) provider named Microsoft-Antimalware-UacScan, which reports the details of the context for each User Account Control request in the provider manifest, has been added.
