Changes and fixes[edit | edit source]
- Fixed an issue that blocked DRM-protected videos from playing in apps that depend on the PlayReady Store Framework that was introduced in Windows 8 for content protection.
- The copyright date in
winver
was updated to 2020. Previous builds used 2019 for the copyright date. - Fixed an issue that caused the Notepad icon to appear on the Start menu after uninstalling the Feature-on-Demand (FOD) version of the app.
- Fixed an issue that caused some systems to stop responding after log-in because several background services were being hosted in the same service host process.
- Fixed an issue with the Your Phone app that caused the copying of large-size files (such as images) to time out on certain phone models.
- Fixed an issue regarding connectivity on mobile data with certain mobile carriers on the Microsoft Surface Pro X
- Fixed an issue where the system failed to pin the new Microsoft Edge icon to the taskbar after a user installed the new version of the web browser and created a new user profile on the device.
- Fixed an issue that prevented some users from logging out because the user session stopped responding.
