Windows 10 build 14342 (rs1_release) is the fourteenth Insider Preview build of Windows 10 Anniversary Update, which was released to Windows Insiders in the Fast ring on 10 May 2016, and then to Slow ring users on 18 May 2016.

User interface[edit | edit source]
Taskbar[edit | edit source]
The Windows Ink Workspace icon has been updated to align with other icons in the taskbar.
File Explorer and Windows Mail are pinned to the taskbar by default.
Action Center[edit | edit source]
Middle clicking can now be used to dismiss notifications.
Applications[edit | edit source]
Microsoft Edge[edit | edit source]
Extensions can now be downloaded directly from the Windows Store. Support for real-time web notifications has also been added.
Feedback Hub[edit | edit source]
Suggestions for categories and subcategories are now provided when creating a feedback based on the title and description.
Windows Defender[edit | edit source]
The program and tray icons for Windows Defender has been updated to a shield icon.
Bugs and quirks[edit | edit source]
- Feedback Hub is not localized. As a result, regardless of language, Feedback Hub will be always in US English.
- Feedback Hub takes about 20–30 minutes after updating to this build to download and hydrate itself. If Feedback Hub is not fully hydrated, mini-survey notifications won't take the user anywhere, search won't work, and when going to Feedback Hub from another app, Feedback will not open.
- In some localized versions of this build, the All apps list on the Start menu appears to be empty.
- Square boxes in certain apps can be seen when using some of the new emojis.
- PCs with Intel HD Graphics 3000 or Intel HD Graphics 2000 may experience graphical glitches and instability with Microsoft Edge.
