Windows 10 build 10049 is the sixth Technical Preview build of Windows 10, which was released to Windows Insiders in the Fast ring on 30 March 2015.
This build serves as an update to build 10041 (fbl_impressive) and is the first publicly available build to include Project Spartan (now known as Microsoft Edge).

- Project Spartan is now pinned to the taskbar by default, replacing Internet Explorer.
- Alarms & Clock, Calculator, and Voice Recorder received major updates.
- The local drive is no longer displayed on the navigation pane in File Explorer.
- New glyphs have been introduced into File Explorer and Settings.
