Windows 10 build 10049 is the sixth Technical Preview build of Windows 10, which was released to Windows Insiders in the Fast Ring on 30 March 2015.[1]
This build serves as an update to build 10041 (fbl_impressive) and is the first publicly available build to include Project Spartan (now known as Microsoft Edge).

- Project Spartan is now pinned to the taskbar by default, replacing Internet Explorer.
- Alarms & Clock, Calculator, and Voice Recorder received major updates.
- The local drive is no longer displayed on the navigation pane in File Explorer.
- New glyphs have been introduced into File Explorer and Settings.

The People, Mail, and Calendar applications fail to launch in this build as they do not install properly.
