Add build 22449.1000 because It's out. why not add it? CDur82283 (talk) 19:12, 3 September 2021 (UTC)

Add Windows 11 Nickel page link[edit source]

Page admins could put a link to the Nickel page here on the main page of windows 11, to make it easier for people to find the content of the page and also help to centralize the content about Windows 11 in one place. — Preceding unsigned comment added by ViniBeta (talkcontribs)

22000.6[edit source]

Should this build be added as a confirmed build, as it is mentioned in the UUPDump for 22000.9? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Grafality (talkcontribs)

Criticism=Hate.[edit source]

I just wanted to tell you. I'm not going to vamdalise, I just want you to know the truth. F you for this and for not accepting the Purge.--78.183.145.44 06:11, 5 March 2022 (UTC)

When will the page be renamed to, "Windows 11 (Original Release)"?[edit source]

I know that it is way too early to rename the page to Windows 11 (Original Release) right now given that Microsoft has not yet released Windows 11 version 22H2 and has not given a name for the upcoming update quite yet.

But, I think that the page should be renamed to Windows 11 (Original Release) once Windows 11 version 22H2 gets closer to release. But, when will the name change for the page take place though? — Preceding unsigned comment added by WindowsGuy2021 (talkcontribs)

Either when Microsoft confirm 22H2 or when 22H2 itself is released Xeno (talk) 14:59, 8 April 2022 (UTC)

Kinda off-topic, but...[edit source]

Windows 10 Team can be run on Windows 11 core. Using UUPDump, you can get a working ISO. Still, it isn't perfect and here's all the bugs: -Bugged titlebar, with a white one placing on top of the main one -Surface Hub settings page looks off Someone (talk) 15:26, 21 April 2022 (UTC)

Why so much hate?[edit source]

This article is the most hate-filled article in BetaWiki, I swear. --176.234.9.11 10:50, 15 June 2022 (UTC)

Criticism is hate now I guess, lol. Starfrost (talk) 11:12, 15 June 2022 (UTC)

When will the free upgrade actually end?[edit source]

When Windows 11 became available on 5 October 2021, Microsoft told users through a FAQ that the free upgrade offer would remain active until at least a year after release. However, I checked the free upgrade FAQ and now it says that Microsoft reserves the right to eventually end the free upgrade offer. Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 users can still upgrade to Windows 10 for free by typing in their product keys despite what Microsoft says otherwise. I think it may still be possible to freely upgrade to Windows 11 even after the free upgrade offer ends though time will tell.

Upgrade from 8.1 is possible[edit source]

I've just tried to upgrade from Windows 8.1 to 11 directly and it worked with saving all my apps and data. Please edit the page. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 5.18.180.180 (talkcontribs)

While yes, the upgrade worked without any problems (this includes upgrading from 7), this is not officially supported by Microsoft, so this info is not going to be added. NaraInsider1694 (talk) 23:12, 13 February 2023 (UTC)
Do you mean it is not supported without bypassing Windows 11 system requirements? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 5.18.180.180 (talkcontribs)
Microsoft clearly says only supported Windows 10 devices are eligible for the Windows 11 upgrade. In other words, it is not supported without bypassing Windows 11's system requirements (like you said). NaraInsider1694 (talk) 06:22, 14 February 2023 (UTC)
