Microsoft Office 2000 is a version of Microsoft Office released to manufacturing on 23 March 1999 and to retail on 7 June 1999. This version introduced the Windows Installer (MSI) for installing and maintaining included applications. It is also the last version to support Windows 95 and it no longer installs Microsoft Binder by default. It additionally includes Internet Explorer 5 and Windows Media Player 6.1.

One service release and two service packs were released for Office 2000 until 21 October 2002, with the former one receiving a minor "a" update in early 2001. Office 2000 is the last official version of Microsoft Office for Windows NT 4.0 SP3SP5 as well as Windows 95.
