New features and changes[edit | edit source]
- This is the first build of Leopard that no longer supports PowerPC G3 processors; a PowerPC G4 or G5 is now required to run this build.
- UI changes have been made to the setup interface, making it resemble the final release.
- Time Machine backups can now be restored during the OOBE.
- The Quick Look feature has been added, which can be accessed from the action menu in Finder.
- The "Word of the Day" screen saver has been added.
- New display styles can be toggled for photo screen savers.
- Multiple tabs can now be bookmarked at once in Safari.
- Greeting messages have been added to iChat.[1]
- ZFS support has been added.[2]
