InkBall was a puzzle game that was first introduced with Windows XP Tablet PC Edition 2005, later being included in early Vista, starting with build 3713. It was discontinued with the release of Windows 7. The goal of the game is to draw various lines on the screen to direct the balls into holes of their corresponding colors to win each round and score points.
It can be played with either an ordinary computer mouse or a stylus. The ability to play with the former was introduced in Windows Vista and a new icon was introduced to align with the Windows Aero UI. In Tablet PC Edition, the player is able to use the mouse, but it will disappear in the game window. Pressing the Alt key will show the mouse cursor.
