iOS 18.1 build 22B5023e is the official Beta 2 release of iOS 18.1, which was released to Apple developers on 12 August 2024.[1] It is only available in the US for iPhone 15 Pro models and iPads with an M series chip.

New features and changes[edit | edit source]

  • Features from iOS 18 Beta 5 and Beta 6 have been implemented into this build.
  • Type to Siri can now be enabled or disabled from the Apple Intelligence & Siri page in the Settings app.
  • Slight adjustments have been made to the updated Siri animation.
  • The ability to search from the Lock Screen by swiping down has been removed.[2]
