iOS 18.0 build 22A5338b is the official Beta 6 and Public Beta 4 release of iOS 18, which was released to Apple developers and public beta testers on 12 August 2024.[1]

Changes[edit | edit source]

  • Notifications will now display Dark Mode icons if enabled.[2]
  • Tinted icons and widgets are now linked to the current wallpaper, rather than the system.
  • A dedicated toggle for temporarily disabling Bluetooth has been added to Control Center.
  • The organization of several toggles in the Controls gallery has been adjusted.
  • In the Settings app, the icons for Autofill & Passwords and Background App Refresh have been updated.
  • New splash screens have been added to Photos‌, Translate, Podcasts, Home, Apple TV, Calculator, and Music.
  • The "Browse" tab in the Music app has been renamed to "New".
  • Slight UI adjustments have been made to the Photos app.
