FreeCell is a card game, the objective of which is to move all of the cards to the four foundation piles to build up each suit up from Ace to King. The player wins if the player successfully manages to get all of the cards into the foundation piles.
The Microsoft version of the game was introduced in the Microsoft Entertainment Pack Volume 2 and was later bundled with Windows NT 3.1 and Windows 95 through Windows 7. FreeCell was also made available for Windows 3.1x as part of Win32s by porting the game from Windows NT 3.1. Since Windows 10, an updated version of the game is available as part of the Microsoft Solitaire Collection.
