Microsoft Teams is a video conferencing/chat software, which was launched on 14 March 2017, and is supposed to replace Skype for Business.

It is primarily intended for enterprise or educational usage, but Microsoft plans to roll out Teams for personal usage, as with the Teams client included in Windows 11.

Microsoft Teams is available for Windows, macOS and as a web service for desktop as well as for iOS and Android. It was formerly also available for Linux, but was discontinued in favor of the web service.
