Windows XP build 2600.2096 is the official Service Pack 2 RC1 update build of Windows XP. It includes enhancements to the Windows Firewall due to the Security Center.
Changes[edit | edit source]
- The option to skip creating an uninstall directory has been disabled, as "Do Not Archive Files" is grayed out. It would be removed in a later build.
- If the processor supports PAE, an additional line "Physical Address Extension" is added beneath the processor specifications in System Properties.
