Windows XP build 2462 is the official Beta 2 release of Windows XP released to testers on 19 March 2001 and the public on 26 March.[1] This build was released in both checked and free variants, along with various languages alongside with MUI packs. An IA-64 build has existed as well according to a German tech news magazine, however except for being provided to a selected group of testers it has never seen a public release and remains unleaked.[2]
