Bugs and quirks[edit | edit source]

  • Applying the WinPE-Powershell optional component may not properly install PowerShell in WinPE.
  • Archiving event logs with wevtutil al command may cause the Windows Event Log Service to crash, and the archive operation to fail.
  • Speak to Me application doesn't run when clicking on it.
  • When upgrading to this build via Windows Update, the download process may stuck at 0%.
  • The installation media of this build doesn't boot correctly with UEFI on VMware, VirtualBox and Hyper-V (Gen 2) virtual machines. To fix that, switch virtual machine settings to use BIOS.
  • After enabling compact view, list of files is partially shrinking more than it should be.
  • Clicking the "Display Connection" section under Display > Graphics may crash the Settings app.
  • Although this build introduces option to enable Sudo for Windows, enabling it does nothing.
