Windows Server 2025 build 25921 is the first Insider Preview build of Windows Server 2025 in the development semester of Gallium. It was released to Windows Insiders on 4 August 2023, along with its client counterpart.

New features and changes[edit | edit source]
- The Windows Terminal app has been included as an inbox app.
- The Enhanced Log service has been implemented to Storage Replica.
- This build reverts to the previous placeholder "Windows Server" branding in
winver, but still retains the references to Windows Server 2022. It notably has a copyright symbol (©) instead of a registered trademark one (®).
Bugs and quirks[edit | edit source]
Archiving eventlogs with wevtutil al command may cause the Windows Event Log service to crash, and the archive operation to fail.
