Windows Server 2016 build 9796 is a pre-Technical Preview build of Windows Server 2016. It was originally released to Microsoft partners participating in the Ecosystem Engineering Access Program (EEAP) on 17 July 2014.[1] The full build was later publicly uploaded on 28 October 2024 alongside its x64 public symbol package and its client counterpart.
