User interface[edit | edit source]
- Many icons throughout the system were updated.
- File Explorer received its final icon.
- Icons for the Display, File History, Fonts, Personalization, and Programs and Features applets within Control Panel were finalized. Most categories also received updated icons.
- The start button has become slightly brighter.
- The Toolbars section in Taskbar Properties has been changed.
- Updated the appearance of the taskbar expand button.
- Changed the default wallpaper.
- Window controls now expand to the width of the title bar.
Microsoft Edge[edit | edit source]
- Renamed Project Spartan to Microsoft Edge.
- Added a new dark theme to Microsoft Edge.

The start screen settings have been removed and now the start screen will try to change color according to the user's accent color.
