Windows Server 2003 build 2464 is a build of Windows Server 2003, which was shared by Koptor at OSBetaArchive on 14 July 2006.[1] It is the first server build to introduce Windows XP branding, albeit only two references, one of which can be found in System Information (msinfo32.exe
) and the other in Help and Support Center. Components such as Help and Support Center, Remote Desktop Connection and Scheduled Tasks had design changes to bring them closer to the final design.
This is the final build to feature the MIDI files found in driveletter:\Windows\Media
that were introduced in Windows 3.0 MME and Windows 95 such as passport.mid
and Dance of the Sugar-Plum Fairy.rmi
, as the next build replaces them with flourish.mid
, onestop.mid
and town.mid
from Windows Me, and the Music Sample "Voices" by Intermix used in Windows Media Player. It is also the final build to feature the Internet Explorer logo used from version 4.0 to 5.5 and the classic Windows logo in the About Windows winver
and as a generic program icon.
