Windows NT 4.0 build 1381.1 (pre-release) is the RTM build of Windows NT 4.0 that was recompiled. This is the original compile, which has a missing dot on the boot screen and earlier file dates. It was going to be the RTM build and was apparently already being shipped when a major bug was found, so it had to be recompiled.
It was found in both the Workstation and Server SKUs. The build was scene leaked in early August 1996, soon followed by the recompiled build. The Workstation edition was shared on BetaArchive on 22 December 2014,[1] while the Server edition followed a year later on 25 December 2015 on OSBetaArchive.[2]
