New features and changes[edit | edit source]
- This build updates the startup and shutdown sounds to ones identical to the sounds heard in the RTM product.
- These sounds also have a higher bitrate when compared to builds after 1273, making it the only available build to have higher quality sounds.
- This is the first build to display the end-user license agreement during the graphical part of setup, although it includes placeholder text. It would later be shifted to the text-mode part.
- Network setup has been finalized.

Installing via winnt32.exe does not work due to an optional directory not being accessible.
