Windows NT 3.1 build 347 is a build of Windows NT 3.1. This build was scene leaked by The Blademan of the warez group WaREZ/ROI Productions on 18 December 1992 and was lost. It was later rediscovered and uploaded to the Internet Archive on 23 June 2024.[1]

In the currently available copy, the files RPCLTS5.DLL, SETUPDLL.DLL, and SSERIFF.FON are corrupted and should be replaced with versions from build 340 in order to install this build.

New features and changes[edit | edit source]

System[edit | edit source]

System files are now stored in the System32 directory instead of System. A empty System folder is still created for compatibility with 16-bit Windows applications.

Interface[edit | edit source]

Program Manager now shows user and computer name in the window title bar.

Introducing Windows NT (INTRO.EXE) is now included with this build, giving users a guided tour of the operating system.

January 1993 reference[edit | edit source]

This build identifies itself as "Windows NT Beta - January 1993" in the bootloader. This suggests that either a January 1993 beta release exists or that the March 1993 beta was initially scheduled to release on January before getting delayed to March.
