Windows 1.03 is a minor update to Windows 1.02, released on 21 August 1986. It succeeds both 1.01 and 1.02 as a universal release in the US and other markets. It features additional device drivers, an improved SDK and updated versions of Control Panel, Reversi, Write, and Paint, featuring the version number of 1.03, while the rest remained at 1.02. There are twelve different builds of version 1.03 with timestamps ranging from summer 1986 to late 1987. There is also a checked/debug version dating from December 1986.
