Windows 98 build 1998 (Russian Pre-RTM) is an unconfirmed build of Windows 98, which was supposedly uploaded to the Chinese website BetaWorld on 26 June 2021.[1] According to the information on the BetaWorld Wiki, the build date for this version is about 3 months before the official Russian version. Compared to this version, the official version has improved translations of some system strings, as well as translated many English texts, fixed many functional codes and interface modifications.
