Windows 98 build 1998 (Russian Pre-RTM) is a pre-release localization build of Windows 98, which was uploaded to the Chinese website BetaWorld on 26 June 2021,[1] and was later shared on 28 October 2024.
The compile date for this build is about three months before the official Russian version. Compared to this version, the official version has improved translations of some system strings. This build is also lacking many English strings, and the final version also has fixed many functional codes and interface modifications.
