Windows 98 build 1998A is a build of Windows 98 which can be obtained by installing the Windows Security Update CD from February 2004 on top over the originally released build. The disc also includes Internet Explorer 6, Windows Media Player 7.1 and DirectX 9.0b—the latest versions of these components supported on this build.
