Windows 98 build 1650.8 is the official Beta 3 release of Windows 98. This is a recompile of build 1650, much like a slightly earlier build 1650.3, and as such is very similar to the mentioned builds.
The Korean version of this build was uploaded by Callisto on 6 November 2020[1]. and then was later uploaded to BetaArchive FTP on 31 December 2020.
The Japanese version containing both the x86 and PC-98 versions of this build was later obtained and shared by Blue Horizon on 15 May 2021. The disc also contains Korean and Traditional Chinese versions of the build as well.[2][3]
The Simplified Chinese version of this build is included on the Chinese warez CD "杀毒家族" (aka AC-6043) which was uploaded by a member of the Chinese software preservation group 老光盘交流群 named 肥牛 on 15 January 2020,[4] and mirrored to the Internet Archive on 1 September 2022.[5]
Alongside from this, there are also versions of this build in Dutch, French, Spanish, German, Brazilian Portuguese, Swedish, and Italian.[6]
