Windows 95 build 474 is a post-Beta 3 build of Windows 95, which was uploaded to BetaArchive FTP on 16 September 2011. This is an upgrade build, so it is required to upgrade from either Windows 3.1 or an earlier build of Windows 95, otherwise, the installation will not work.

Changes[edit | edit source]
- The EULA shown during setup has been changed.
Bugs, quirks and observations[edit | edit source]
- VGA driver in the first half of the setup is broken. Gray elements are displayed in black, which makes black texts unreadable.
- The Super VGA driver after the installation is broken, however, third party drivers such as drivers from S3 Graphics work flawlessly.
- The
README.TXTtext file mentions August 1995, despite this build being compiled in May 1995.
