Windows 95 build 285 is a beta 2 build of Windows 95, which was mentioned in the Power CD 01 warez CD compilation.[1] This build was scene leaked soon after it was compiled, then found again and shared on OSBetaArchive on 11 December 2015.[2]
Changes[edit | edit source]
- This build no longer includes WinPad, marking the discontinuation of the project since it started in 1993.
- The Start menu banner has been updated to resemble the RTM.
Setup[edit | edit source]
- SmartRecovery has been renamed to Safe Recovery.
- Setup now initializes the Control Panel after hardware detection.
