Windows 95 build 170 is a build of Windows 95. It is mentioned in the Release Notes from builds 180 and 189, along with builds 165 and 166.
As of build 170, Windows 95 no longer preserves your hardware settings on an upgrade over previous builds of Windows 95. Please note your hardware settings prior to install.
