- The "Regional Settings" Control Panel applet received a new icon.
- The font of the headline of the Active Desktop description sidebar in Windows Explorer has been changed from Times New Roman to Tahoma.
- Setup no longer shows a list of installed devices after detecting them.
- Added the
FP_EMULATION_ERROR(0xA6) bugcheck code. - Added sound effects in the Minesweeper game.

- Windows Explorer has a chance of crashing at startup.
- Formatting the drive may take a significant amount of time, even for small partitions.
