The Windows 2.0 InfoWorld build is an unleaked pre-release build of Windows 2.0, shown in the 27 July[1] and 28 September 1987[2] issue of InfoWorld magazine. The July issue features a pre-release version of Excel for Windows, running on what appears to be a pre-release version of Windows 2.0 still using the 1.0 color scheme. The Microsoft OS/2 Developer’s Conference additionally showcased this build with files dated from 11 and 12 May 1987,[3] with the date in Control Panel being set to 10 June 1987. The September issue shows a build with the final color scheme running the included applications, the caption says it is a "beta version".
