New features and changes[edit | edit source]
Settings[edit | edit source]
The "Added features" list under the System → Optional features page has been moved to the "View features" dialog, and a new link has been added to the dialog for switching between added and available feature lists. These changes are disabled by default, but can be activated manually by enabling the 55049146
velocity staging key.
APIs[edit | edit source]
The removal of the "Location History" feature as well as its corresponding settings under Privacy & security → Location in the Settings app, previously implemented in build 27788, have been gradually rolled out. These changes can be activated manually by enabling the 54920368
velocity staging key.
Bugfixes[edit | edit source]
- Fixed an issue with the WDMAud system driver (
wdmaud.drv
) that was leading to some app crashes after the recent MIDI work. - Fixed an issue where the System → Display → Color management page in the Settings app won't display the expected color profile list for the selected monitor.
Bugs and quirks[edit | edit source]
- Enrolling to the Windows Insider Program on a new Copilot+ PC may cause Windows Hello PIN and biometrics to fail with the
0xd0000225
("Something went wrong, and your PIN isn't available") error. - Certain apps may fail to launch due to a
d3d9.dll
crash in certain cases.
