Bugs[edit | edit source]
- You must use an IDE or SATA hard drive if you want to install this build in VMware, otherwise the setup won't be able to find the drive.
- The BattlEye anti-cheat software has some incompatibility issues due to changes in the operating system between some Insider Preview builds and certain versions.
- The update process to this build has a chance of hanging for extended periods of time.
- At the time of this build's release, some Windows Insiders were unable to update to this build and instead got an error with either the error codes 0x8007042b or 0xc1900101.
- The East Asian IMEs (the Simpilified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Japanese and Korean IMEs) may be missing from the language/keyboard layout switcher after upgrading from May 2020 Update build 19041 or older builds to this one if there are multiple languages/keyboard layouts present. If this happens, navigate to Settings → Time & language → Language → Preferred languages and then remove and re-add the keyboards that are missing from the keyboard layout switcher.
- The documents section in the privacy settings has a broken icon, and as such, a rectangle shows in its place.
- When the user starts WSL2, there's a chance of encountering an error that reads "A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond."
- If you bring up the Clipboard History by pressing ⊞ Win+V and then close it without pasting anything, input will stop working in many places until the PC is rebooted.
