Windows 10 build 18362.86 is an updated version of build 18362. This build was released to Windows Insiders in the Fast ring that were running build 18362.53 on 26 April 2019. It was rolled out to the Slow and Release Preview rings shortly after.
Fixes and changes[edit | edit source]
- This build includes the fix for Windows Insiders in the Fast Ring who were unable to update to the latest build of 20H1 from build 18362.53.
- Made general improvements for Japanese users and those that use the OS in the Japanese language, including fixes for the Japanese IME. Some date and time issues were fixed as well.
- Fixed an issue that caused UWP VPN plugin apps to not be able to properly send packets through an established VPN tunnel on an IPv6 only network.
- Fixed an issue that caused updating to this build to fail to with an 0x80242016 error.
Bugs[edit | edit source]
- You may get an error with the error code “0x800705b4” when launching Windows Defender Application Guard or Windows Sandbox. To workaround this issue, enable the following registry keys on the host OS and reboot:

- If you use the MS UI Gothic and MS PGothic fonts in Microsoft Excel, the text, layout or cell size may become narrower or wider than expected.
