Bugs[edit | edit source]

  • The Settings app will crash after changing your account's password or PIN, if you want to change your password or PIN, use the Ctrl+Alt+Del method to change the password.
  • Due to a merge conflict, the settings for enabling/disabling Dynamic Lock are missing from the sign-in settings.
  • Settings will crash when the option “View storage usage on other drives” is clicked, which is located under System -> Storage.
  • The Windows Security app may show an unknown status for the Virus & threat protection area, and sometimes it may not refresh properly.
  • The option to delete the previous version of Windows in the configuration for Storage Sense is not selectable.
  • Settings will crash when opening Speech Settings.
  • Some apps and games may cause the system to crash with a green screen with the error code SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION in win32kbase.sys.
  • An update block was put in place for this build for a small number of PCs that used Nuvoton (NTC) TPM chips with a specific firmware version (1.3.0.1). It was due to a bug causing issues with Windows Hello face/biometric/pin login, causing it to not work.
