Changes[edit | edit source]
- Winver now reports itself as "Version 1809" instead of the "Version 1803" that was used in previous builds.
- Like in October 2018 Update builds 17741 to 17755, the Your Phone icon is present on the desktop.
- Removed the Fluent Design acrylic and shadows on menus that were introduced in October 2018 Update build 17692 and build 17711 respectively.
- Reverted the changes that were made to the Game bar in October 2018 Update build 17692.
- The version of the dark theme that is seen in October 2018 Update build 17733 is included in this build.
- General changes, improvements, and fixes listed in the official release announcement.
Bugs[edit | edit source]
- When the "Make text bigger" option in the Ease of Access Settings page is used, text clipping issues may be encountered, and sometimes the text may not resize everywhere.
- When using Narrator's scan mode, ⇧ Shift with selection commands in Microsoft Edge, the text does not get selected correctly.
- Narrator sometimes does not read in the Settings app when it is being navigated using the Tab ↹ and arrow keys. To fix this issue, turn on Narrator's Scan Mode temporarily, and then turn Scan Mode back off. If this is done, Narrator now correctly reads the content in Settings when you navigate it by using the Tab ↹ and arrow keys.
- Clicking on web links in PWAs (Progressive Web Apps) such as Twitter does not work in this build.
- There's a chance that the background of Action Center and the toast notifications can lose color, causing it to become transparent with an acrylic effect as a result.
- You cannot resize the Task Manager window on this build.
