Changes[edit | edit source]
- Winver now reports itself as "Version 1809" instead of the "Version 1803" that was used in previous builds.
- Added a shortcut to the desktop for the Your Phone app.
- Added support for searching the new emoji that was introduced in build 17723, and added tooltips for the new emojis that was introduced in the aforementioned build.
- General changes, improvements, and bug fixes listed in the official release announcement.
Bugs[edit | edit source]
- There's a chance of the system crashing with a green screen of death if the user log out or shut down.
- When the "Make text bigger" option in the Ease of Access Settings page is used, text clipping issues may be encountered, and sometimes the text may not resize everywhere.
- Narrator sometimes does not read in the Settings app when it is being navigated using the Tab ↹ and arrow keys. To fix this issue, turn on Narrator's Scan Mode temporarily, and then turn Scan Mode back off. If this is done, Narrator now correctly reads the content in Settings when you navigate it by using the Tab ↹ and arrow keys.
- The motion controllers for a Windows Mixed Reality headset may have to be re-paired for a second time after setting up for the first time.
