Windows 10/Windows Update builds
When the first Technical Preview build was released to the general public, it offered a preview builds feature which allowed Insiders to download and upgrade to the latest versions of Windows 10 from Microsoft's development branches, which contained the latest code and feature changes. The feature only worked when Microsoft released a new build on the Beta Channel (formerly called the Slow ring) and made it accessible to those in who were in the program. With the use of a registry hack, a number of build strings and their ESD names were obtained from the Windows Update infrastructure; however, there was no known way of obtaining these builds.
The (A recompile?) tag indicates that a newer version of a single build from the same branch existed; it is not certain whether the build in question is in fact a recompile or what the purpose behind it is, and furthermore why both versions exist together in the analysis (i.e.: not replaced by a newer version but both are kept).
