Ubuntu 9.10 is a version of Ubuntu, which was released on 29 October 2009. The login interface is enhanced to no longer require the user to type a username, and also places certain games in a "Logic" subdirectory. It updates the installer to include a slideshow while installing the system, instead of a window with just a progress bar and status text. The netbook version is the last to be named "Netbook Remix", as it would be changed to "Netbook Edition" in the next version.
