Tandy DeskMate
Tandy DeskMate is a discontinued x86 pseudo operating environment that would be ran on top of DOS, usually being Tandy's OEMs of MS-DOS. It was originally used for the TRS-80 line of computers, but it was eventually being made for personal computers - starting off with the Tandy 1000 and its many variations. The first release of Tandy DeskMate was released in 1984, running on a TRS-80 as mentioned earlier, and later releases were made for the Tandy 1000 PC and later PCs, until the final version was released in 1992. Tandy DeskMate was competing against other operating environments, such as Microsoft Windows, whilst it was being maintained.
