Talk:Windows 8 build 7989
Setup bootscreen[edit source]
Setup in this build uses the Windows 7 boot screen. Looks very strange to me... Brennan1234567890 (talk) 18:44, 30 July 2022 (UTC)
- It's because you're booting off of the original leak, which was a modified Windows 7 RTM ISO with parts of 7850 and 7989's installation media hacked in - pivotman319 (📫) 18:55, 30 July 2022 (UTC)
About this build's SATA device.[edit source]
In this build, i found the issue regarding this build's SATA device. When i go to "Standard AHCI Controller" device properties, it saids "This device cannot start (Code 10)".
This issue may persists until build 8032, and i'm not sure if it also affects build 7978 or 7985. —— This newly signed comment was added by Lazytown Sportacus (LazytownSpo4015) • Talk page • 16:53, 23 February 2024 (UTC)
- For some reason I did not experience this bug in the x64 compile of 8002. Zadig (talk) 14:04, 24 February 2024 (UTC)
- I know but which components of this build caused it? —— This newly signed comment was added by Lazytown Sportacus (LazytownSpo4015) • Talk page • 13:08, 1 March 2024 (UTC)
