Talk:Windows 10 October 2020 Update
Source?[edit source]
I need proof of this "version 2009". Where did you find this "19042.264"? BenjiMadden7850 (talk) 12:42, 17 May 2020 (UTC)
- And who are you talking to? Mrfunnylaughs (talk) 12:44, 17 May 2020 (UTC)

RTM version[edit source]
19042.508 should be the RTM version as Microsoft released its ISO image on MVS. Besides, Microsoft also claims that 19042.508 is the final version on the announcement page. 19042.572 should be "general availability" version. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 202.112.129.246 (talk • contribs)
If .508 had been the final build, consumers would've used it as the first build to upgrade to 20H2, either via WU or MCT, when it actually was .572. Also, they never claimed, they just BELIEVED. Ferito (talk) 15:23, 17 December 2020 (UTC)
That's the definition of "general availability". RTM (release to manufacturing) is usually different from GA, as the latter often includes some 0-day updates. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 122.136.170.226 (talk • contribs)
Build 19042.1052[edit source]
According to my computer's Settings and Winver, my computer is running on Build 19042.1052, which is not a page on this wiki. I searched up the build number on Google and found a page about it on the Microsoft website. And on that page, it also lists two other builds, 19401.1052, and 19043.1052. Neither of those have pages either. If anyone feels like making a page about the 20H2 version (the version my computer is running on), the full build string in the Registry is 19401.vb_release.191206-1406. I can provide screenshots if necessary. EliDoesStuff (talk) 22:39, 20 June 2021 (UTC)
- Yes, this is intended, we don't currently document RTM updates on the wiki. --Ryuzaki (talk | contribs) 22:43, 20 June 2021 (UTC)
Build 19042.1165[edit source]

Why the release branch is VB_release, not MN_release[edit source]
it has released as minor update. Only Iron is released only for Server Counterpart
