Microsoft Office 2010 build 4302 is a Beta 1 build of Microsoft Office 2010, which was leaked by WZor.net on 13 July 2009.[1]

New features and changes[edit | edit source]

  • The Office button has been replaced with the File menu.
  • Ribbon tabs are now displayed in the backstage view.
  • Dedicated buttons for the info and application pages have been added to the backstage view.
  • The application page in the backstage view has been reorganized and includes new options.
  • The extended title-bar transparency now applies to maximized windows.
  • The blue and black color schemes can be enabled again.
  • Several placeholder and low resolution icons have been replaced.
  • InfoPath Editor has been renamed to InfoPath Filler.
  • More transition effects has been added to PowerPoint compared to build 4006.
  • More video styles are added in PowerPoint. However, the ribbon menu gallery's icons are mostly placeholders.
  • In Customize Ribbon section in options, the "Show as in-ribbon gallery" option has been renamed to "Minimize Gallery" when right clicking a ribbon gallery item.

Quirks[edit | edit source]

The File tab is displayed with the Alt shortcut even if the Alt key is not pressed.
