Note[edit | edit source]
Use US 101 Keyboard Layout[edit | edit source]
The system uses Japanese keyboard layout by default. To use the English keyboard layout, in DISK 1:
- Find the line in CONFIG.SYS that says
DEVICEHIGH=A:\DOS\$IAS.SYS /R=1
, add/K=US
to the end. - Find the line in AUTOEXEC.BAT that says
LH KEYB.COM JP,932,A:\DOS\KEYBOARD.SYS
, delete it or addREM
at the beginning.
Then reboot.
