IBM PC-DOS 1.00 is the first version of IBM PC-DOS, released in 12 August 1981. This version supports only single sided 160KB 5.25" floppy disks and does not have support for sub-directories. Unlike other versions of PC-DOS, the date is asked by the kernel, not by COMMAND.COM, similar to 86-DOS 1.00
