FreeBSD
FreeBSD is a free and open-source Unix-like operating system for a variety of platforms that focuses on features, speed, and stability. It was derived from BSD, a Unix version developed at the University of California, Berkeley. It was released in 1993 and is maintained by a large community today.[1]
